2008 ICA Foster Prize finalists announced
Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art today announced the four finalists for its 2008 Foster Prize, which aims to “nurture and recognize Boston-area artists of exceptional promise.” They are Catherine D'Ignazio of iKatun and The Institute for Infinitely Small Things, Rania Matar, Andrew Witkin and Joe Zane. The four artists will be featured in an exhibition at the ICA from November 12, 2008, to March 1, 2009. The winner of the $25,000 prize will be announced in January 2009. The runners-up get $1,500 each.
