Jonathan Bonner

From my review of Jonathan Bonner's exhibit "Pooms" at 5 Traverse in Providence:
Bonner's "Pooms" — his term for single-syllable words that he turns into a punning sound poetry — are dorky cerebral goofs. A series of letterpress prints makes concrete poetry of simple words — mud, bee, do, pig. In "Mom," for example, the arms of the Ms stretch and cradle an O between them.Read the rest at the end here.
